Feels like I’ve seen something like this before.

Amazon, I’m getting a mixed signal here.

“Oh look, there’s an update to Kindle App for iOS.”

What’s New in Version 3.6.1
Note: There is a known issue with this update. If you are an existing Kindle for iOS user, we recommend you do not install this update at this time.

“Ummm, OK. So there’s an update to Kindle App, but I shouldn’t update to this version.”

***Head explodes!***

Kindle 3.6.1 - Do not install this update.

Amazon started the Kindle Fire again.

Amazon announces new family of Kindle and Kindle Fire at their Press Event earlier today.

Kindle Fire HD 8.9″ ships November 20th, 2012

Kindle Fire HD 7″ and Kindle Fire (2) ship September 14th, 2012

Analog and Digital.

Since Monday October 24th, 2011 I’ve been trying to read the Walter Isaacson-penned biography of Steve Jobs which simply titled “Steve Jobs”. After I finished the “Introduction” I put the hardcover book down and took a break from it. I asked myself why I’m having such a hard time reading the book. Is it because the book about Steve Jobs? Is it because of what could be written in the biography? No.

The answer is simpler than I wanted to believe. It is one thick book to hold. I prefer reading the book in digital format. So I downloaded the book on iBooks. On retrospect, I should have downloaded the book on Amazon Kindle. I can read it on more devices.

One analog is replaced by its digital counterpart.

Amazon Paddle

In keeping with Kindle naming scheme, Amazon should call its unannounced tablet computing device as Paddle.

Introducing Amazon Paddle, the next evolution of Amazon Kindle.

It rolls off the tongue.

The Apple and Sony eReader plus Amazon Kindle App Drama.

Following the fallout of Sony eBook Reader App rejection, many speculates that Apple would axe Amazon Kindle App from the App Store.

What is Apple’s angle here?

The sensationalistic headline from Ars Technica might start another mini revolt against Apple, as usual. In a short time we all would forget this all ever happened and everyone would be none the wiser. Apple will not remove Amazon Kindle App from the App Store because there is no good reasons to.
