At first, I thought I bought a new iPhone mini a few years ago, but no, I bought a refurbished one.
Well actually it was an iPhone assigned to one of my colleagues who preferred a smaller phone.

Nothing But Spam Emails
I was helping an elderly couple cleaning up their email account. Would you be surprised if I told you that they are still using AOL emails?
Well, there were more than 4,000 spam emails in their inbox. It took me quite some time to move them all to the spam folder. Or is it called junk folder?
Burgers, Fries, and Shakes.
We were working late at the office and after a few round of discussions we agreed to get Burgers, Fries, and Shakes.
Well, guess who figuratively drew the shortest straw?

Oh Meatbag, Carrot Weather now has a CarPlay App
I was going to write about this a few days ago. Carrot Weather now has a CarPlay App.
It is a Map with Weather; and it has turn by turn directions. It still needs a lot of work, but for meatbags like me, it is definitely amusing to use.

Piece of Mind, Painkiller, and Divine Intervention
On December 7, 2025 Iron Maiden shared the news of Nicko McBrains’s retirement from touring.
While perusing Iron Maiden’s catalogue, I started listening to these records one after another for a reason.
- Piece of Mind by Iron Maiden (1983)
- Painkiller by Judas Priest (1990)
- Divine Intervention by Slayer (1994)
These three records have two things in common and they are:
- The records opened with drums
- Each record is the debut of a new drummer in the band
Solid State Drives
I was in need of some Solid State Drives (SSDs) for an assignment. I remembered that I had a few salvaged computers equipped with SSDs. In a little time I managed to scavenge for two SSDs.
I only needed these SSDs for a short term project so I wouldn’t have to worry about their read & write cycles.
