Apple Fake News: Something Code-named “Rabbit”

This just in! Since I can’t really explain what it is without springing all the traps set by Steve Jobs and his henchpersons, I’d have to use some other words that came to mind to describe what Apple is planning to unveil on September 9th  “Let’s Rock” event. That was such a run-on sentence.

Anyway, the first word that came to mind is “rabbit” when the imaginary Apple employee “accidentally” revealed the “mystery” product.

Remember that this is “fake” and don’t even think that it is real.

NetShare to The Rescue

Here I am stranded in a place where the Wi-Fi is not open or free. I need to access something and I couldn’t do it on the iPhone. What to do?

Wait a minute, I did buy NetShare when it was first made available. I actually am making this post through NetShare.

Note to AT&T: Let this happen!

Yerba Buena Center For The Art – Apple “Let’s Rock”

The presence of Apple at the Yerba Buena Center For The Art can be seen through the giant poster for the event and Apple Security team all around the building.

The crews are putting some finishing touches on the venue. The camera crews are already put in place. Some closed circuit TV are being tested.

The products are said to be delivered sometimes in late Monday evening.

Can’t really tell you what they are yet.

Made-Up Rumor: Apple to Announce Completely New Product on “Let’s Rock” Event

UPDATE: 2 pictures from September 07th, 2008 are added.

Here I am somewhere in the Bay Area not too far from Apple’s HQ (Cupertino) digging for something that technically doesn’t exist. After meeting with an imaginary Apple Employee, I was shown an imaginary product from Apple that might be making its debut at the “Let’s Rock” event on September 9th, 2008. The imaginary Apple Employee who does not resemble Phil Schiller at all, told me that the new product would be made available for retail as early as this Holiday Season, if not it would make its debut in MacWorld San Francisco 2009 (January 5-9, 2009).

A short trip (well, it’s not that short) to Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco reveals some clue on what the “Let’s Rock” event is all about. Unfortunately, no products seems to be present at the venue today (Saturday). The imaginary Apple employee mentions that it is not all about the iPod, there’s something more. As a matter of fact, Apple’s creative team are currently brainstorming on a new catch phrase to replace the now classic “One More Thing” slogan. Allegedly, Steve Jobs would not do the “ultra-secret-encore” to introduce the new product if they can’t come up with the new catch phrase. All I can say is: “WOW!”

I have about 24 more hours to sneak around and find out more about Apple “Let’s Rock” event. I’ll be reporting more fake rumors (*wink* *wink*) about the event soon.

All in all I was having fun using the iPhone on the Lombard Street just like what Apple did.

iPhone 3G in Best Buy. Why Oh Why?

Best Buy will be selling iPhone 3G starting September 7th, 2008. With stellar customer service and The Geek Squad support, Best Buy is expecting to exploit make a killing with the iPhone 3G craze.

When you think buying a computer is not painful enough at Best Buy, wait till you are buying iPhone 3G and having Geek Squad services shoved down your throat.

“Bring your computer so The Geek Squad can sync your newly purchased iPhone 3G to your iTunes.

Wait a minute, the Geek Squad can optimize your computer for a little fee, and we will sell you softwares you don’t really need.

We also offer in Home service so that you can connect your newly purchased iPhone 3G with your computer. Don’t worry, the Geek Squad will optimize your iPhone home screen for a little fee.

Seriously, Best Buy might have the presence in many places, but their service is horrible. How much money does Best Buy throw at Apple to have the opportunity to sell iPhone 3G and screw provide service to more customers?

South Park Season 12 is tentatively scheduled to resume sometimes in October 2008.
