Quickest Route and Shortest Distance.

I found a 1st generation iPod nano a few days ago. I contacted Apple to have it replaced. The next day I received a padded envelope with packing and shipping instruction. I handed the package to FedEx shortly after.

Today I saw the tracking information on the package. It was picked up in Costa Mesa, California then shipped to Memphis, Tennessee. The final destination is Elk Grove, California.

The distance from Costa Mesa, California to Memphis, Tennessee is about 1,700 miles by car. The distance from Costa Mesa, California to Elk Grove, California is about 415 miles by car. Go figure.

Apple’s Press Releases:

Apple: “Let’s Rock” iPod with Rounded Edges

As seen in the giant banner on Yerba Buena Center, the silhouette of the iPod seems to have rounded edges. It resembles more to the iPod touch than any iPod nano; released or the rumored one.

The mini-stereo jack is located at the bottom of the iPod, and the size seems to be in the iPod touch range.

What does this mean? Who knows!
