Are you excited for Apple Worldwide Doomsday Clock 2014?
I meant Apple Worldwide Developer Conference 2014, henceforth referred as WWDC.
Apple is live-streaming the WWDC Keynote on its website and Apple TV.
Live streaming video requires Safari 4 or later on OS X v10.6 or later; Safari on iOS 4.2 or later. Streaming via Apple TV requires second- or third-generation Apple TV with software 5.0.2 or later.
Just in case you don’t have the opportunity to watch the WWDC Keynote live stream, you an always follow the coverage on the followings:
Our good friend firstnameatappledotcom is already at Moscone Center getting ready for the Keynote.
WWDC 2014 Keynote is about 10 hours away and I’m getting ready.
I have a fresh SanDisk Extreme II SSD and a spare iPhone that I can use to install OS X 10.10 and iOS 8 betas respectively.
This year Apple will be live-streaming WWDC Keynote. Can’t wait.
Apple announced that WWDC 2014 Keynote will be streamed live at 10:00 am on Monday June 2, 2014.
One can assume that Apple has one big announcement at WWDV 2014.
According to firstnameatappledotcom, key Apple employees have been spending extra time this year at Foxconn factory in China; hinting at possible introduction of new hardware at WWDC 2014.
Another hint from firstnameatappledotcom:
“Consider the resolution scaling in MacBook Pro with Retina Display in the next iPhone.”
Care to guess what it is?
Apple WWDC 2014 is set to take place in San Francisco from June 2 to June 6, 2014.
According to our friend firstnameatappledotcom, there will be a pleasant surprise at the WWDC Keynote. We can’t wait to see what the surprise ie.
Many expect Apple to preview the next iOS and OS X at the Keynote while some expect an announcement of a new hardware or two.
In one week, it will all be revealed.
Shortly after Google acquired Quest Visual, Word Lens app now offers free in-app-purchases.
Word Lens was recently featured in “Powerful“, and ad by Apple.
The New York Times Bits published an interview with the person who claimed to be responsible for the development of the first iPhone App, namely Mobile Safari.
John Gruber has a different take on it.
Judging by my inbox, an awful lot of coffee was spewed in Cupertino today upon reading Tolmasky’s self-aggrandizing description of his role in Mobile Safari’s creation. There’s a difference between “the developer responsible for the first version of mobile Safari” and “the developer who claims he was responsible for the first version of mobile Safari”.
UPDATE: Said one long-time trusted source: “He definitely was NOT the lead on the project and several other engineers made far more significant contributions.”
Personally I have been taking what news organization published with a grain or a boulder of salt.
