July 1, 2013 and Google Reader is shutting down. Users are advised to export their data prior the shut down.

Anyone remembers Digg?
Well, apparently they are making some kind of Google Reader replacement and have been sending out the beta invite.
Ironically, Digg is having trouble with their own web server. Digg has been Dugg.
Google Acquires Waze
It is official. Google has closed the acquisition of Waze, the maker of Social GPS, Maps and Traffic App.
Waze is available for Android and iOS devices.
In a way I’d rather have Google bought Waze than Facebook.

It seems the egg is now perpendicular with Eric Schimdt’s face for implying that Google Now for iOS was stuck in App Store approval process. Apple then said that Google had not submitted Google Now for App Store approval.
2013-04-17 Google Apps is experiencing service disruption
If you’re having issues with Google services, you’re not alone. We first received reports that some people were having issues accessing their Gmail account on Wednesday April 17, 2013 at 06:00 a.m. Mountain View Time.
This was confirmed on Google Apps Status Dashboard.
Tasteless and Despicable
Let me start by saying that spammers are despicable and tasteless, especially when they’re exploiting a tragedy such as the explosions at the Boston Marathon.
Spammers who want to spread malware are sinking to another low. Numbers of readers told us they’ve been getting spam with subjects contain: “explosion at Boston Marathon”
The from addresses are blanked out because it might be used as identifier by the spammers.
One of the addresses has been flagged by Google that it “may harm your computer.”
