Shell Gas Station really wants customer to try their Car Wash
With electronic boards, gas station can change fuel prices at anytime. This particular Shell Gas Station has some interesting pricing strategy, and this is not the first time I spotted the pricing.
$7.119/gallon of regular unleaded fuel which is more expensive than its “Plus” & “Premium” counterparts. But if customers also pay for car wash, the price is 5.749/gallon of regular unleaded fuel.
Falling Gas Prices, Lowest Since February 2011.
For the past few weeks gas prices have been falling to the lowest since February 2011. In Southern California, unleaded Octane 87 gas sells as low as $3.139 per gallon. Quite a difference compared to $4+ per gallon prices this April 2014.
Amazon Increases Prime Membership to $99
Amazon has increased Prime Membership from $79 to $99 in the US. The price hike was attributed to increase in fuel and transportation cost. Amazon still offers 30-day Prime trial.
