One thing that every guitar playing person need to know is to restring the guitar. This past week alone I have two High E Strings broken on my EVH Wolfgang HT.
I had been having trouble with D’Addario EXL120 High E Strings and I’m for now switching back to Ernie Ball Super Slinky (9-42).
I also used D’Addario NS Micro Clip-On Tuner to tune the guitar.
I took my time to restring the guitar and did it right. It really made me appreciate the work that guitar techs do.
Back in June 2018, I took my EVH Wolfgang for setup and maintenance to Paul, a well-known guitar repairman in Southern California. Since the EVH Wolfgang. Paul recommended placing a D’Addario Humidipak in the case where the guitar is stored when not being used.
D’Addario Humidipak is designed to keep Relative Humidity at 45-50% inside the case. Even though it is usually used with acoustic guitars, Paul assured me that it will help maintain my EVH Wolfgang. Especially with its unfinished neck and ebony fingerboard It is necessary to keep it from drying out, which might lead to cracking and fret sprout.
D’Addario Humidipak is based on Boveda’s product which formerly known as Humidipak.
If you purchased this D’Addario Humidipak or anything else through the Amazon.com links, 37prime will receive a tiny “kickback”. Thus, supporting us along the way while you shop. We thank you all in advance.
EVH Wolfgang Special Stealth with Red D-Tuna which I procured back in April. I replaced the “stock” D-Tuna with red one since the guitar came with the wrong length D-Tuna locking nut.

Disclosure: Any purchases made through the Amazon.com Affiliate Links in this post would get me closer to purchase an EVH Wolfgang Stealth. I thank you for that.
