The show might have been dubbed as The Big 4, but there jam should have been called The Big 5. At Yankees Stadium in Bronx, members of Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth, Anthrax and Exodus performed “Overkill”, a Motorhead’s classic. Yes, Exodus member Gary Holt who is filling in for Slayer’s Jeff Hanneman was on stage jamming with the other 4 bands. At the end of the song, Dave Lombardo and Charlie Benante took turns on the drums. Note to Lars Ulrich, now that’s the proper way to play drum.
Not sure If I saw Dave Mustaine, Tom Araya or Jeff Hanneman.
p.s. I see my friend Willie Gee on stage again with The Big Four.
It is September 13th, 2011 and it’s time to spend some hard earned cash on entertainments.
As I have mentioned it before, I was planning to get new records from Anthrax and Dream Theater today. As I walked in the store I found out that Thor is also released today. There goes $50 out of my pocket.
I have yet to open any of the packages, so I won’t be doing any reviews. Then again I won’t be doing any reviews after I actually listens and watch them because I’m way too lazy.

Anthrax Setlist
The “calm” before The Big 4 in Yankee Stadium.
Metal Masters Clinic and Anthrax Live Stream is now available.
I think I see my friend Willie Gee on the side of the stage there.
There are:
I also watched the stream on an iPad.
September 13th, 2011 would be one of those days when I spend my hard earned cash money on actual CD’s. The last one I purchased was Foo Fighters‘ “Wasting Light” if I remembered it correctly.
I like what I hear from these two albums so far. By the way, why am I still calling it “album”?
This is where Tech news intersects with Music News. Metallica performed at Dreamforce convention in Moscone Center, San Francisco on August 31st, 2011. Metallica was giving away tickets in the hundreds through the Met Club.
Set list can be found at Blabbermouth.net.
In somewhat related “news”, Leo Laporte attempted to sing “Battery” and “Enter Sandman” on TWiT 316.

p.s. What if Dreamforce ’12 would feature Dragonforce? Make it the D-force conference!
