I might have been tuning out all the news about Angry Birds fro the past few weeks. I just found out that Angry Birds Toons is now available on Blu-ray and DVD.
Skyfall on Blu-ray
I actually bought Skyfall on Blu-ray, and I have yet to see this movie; not in the theater or anywhere else. The package includes:
- Blu-ray disc
- DVD
- Standard Definition Digital Copy (iTunes version)
- UltraViolet
Seriously, who would care for the UltraViolet copy? I could never get it to play correctly. I became Ultra-Violent during UltraViolet sign-up process.
At least they should pay for shipping and handling.
Seriously, this particular seller on Amazon.com (M and N Media) dares to charge $2.98 for shipping and handling; considering how much I would pay for the Blu-ray/DVD pack. For that much money, I can get several Hot Tub Time Machines, that can travel only forward in time.
Foo Fighter: Back And Forth DVD and Blu-ray
So I now have one copy each of Foo Fighters: Back And Forth DVD and Blu-ray. The sad part is that I do not own a Blu-ray player in any form. The Blu-ray version of Foo Fighters documentary is currently available on Best Buy only.
South Park: The Complete Fourteenth Season – all beeps are included.
So, you are a South Park Fan? You must be angry about Episode 201 and all those unnecessary beeps. Well, you must be thrilled to know that all the beeps are included in South Park: The Complete Fourteenth Season DVD and Blu-ray.
You must have wondered why.
Well, apparently Comedy Central would not release the uncensored episode in any form as Trey Parker and Matt Stone have explained.

I’ve just placed an order for Seagate Momentus XT from Amazon.com. I have installed one of these on a MacBook Pro recently and it definitely gives some speed boost.
Seagate Momentus XT features 32MB Cache and 4GB SLC NAND solid state memory. (Specs)
Amazon is selling the bare-drive, that is sans the fancy packaging.
I will be installing this hard-drive on a 15-inch MacBook Pro Core i7 when it arrives.

Universal Music will release “The Big Four: Live From Sofia, Bulgaria” DVD and Blu-ray containing footage of the June 22, 2010 Sonisphere cinecast from the Sofia, Bulgaria leg of the touring rock festival featuring the “Big Four” of 1980s thrash metal — Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth and Anthrax. The DVD hits the streets on October 15 in Northern Europe, October 18 in most of the rest of the world, October 19 in North America and the full shows from all four bands will be included in the two-disc set along with behind-the-scenes and interview footage.
