CES and Chocolate Chip Cookies

It is that time of the year again where many companies gather in Las Vegas, Nevada; showcasing products that might one day be available for sale. Consumer Electronics Show 2017 officially kicked of on Thursday, January 5, 2017.

The most exciting thing about CES this year is someone brought homemade chocolate chip cookies to the office today. OK, we’re a little jaded about CES announcement. So far it has been boring at best. Hopefully there are some exciting news from CES this year.

CES 2013: Qualcomm, You’ve got to be kidding me!

Qualcomm’s CES 2013 Keynote deserves the “You’ve gotta be kidding me!” award.

Hipsters, bad actors, horrible music (Maroon 5) and Steve Ballmer; those are just a few things that indicate what’s wrong with Qualcomm’s CES 2013 Keynote. If only Qualcomm had Nickelback and Kanye West, then it would make everyone in Las Vegas vomit.

Let me put it this way, me in my litter box makes a better CES Keynote than Qualcomm’s.

Who designed this TV? What was it inspired by? A rotating chalkboard?

This one deserves a “You’ve got to be kidding me!” award.

Chiropractors would love this, because people would have their backs hurt carrying this thing around.

I can’t wait to see people bring this to restaurants

CES 2012 Report

Since none of us officially at CES 2012, we won’t be pretending to cover it. There are a lot of sites out there actually providing CES 2102 coverage. Sites such as The Verge, Engadget and TWiT are actually at CES covering the event. By the way, does anyone know if Gizmodo were given any credentials for CES this year?

IF there’s anything interesting from CES 2012, we will be talking about it. Definitely we won’t pretend to report from CES floor.

CES 2011: Windows Support for Silicon on a Chip Architectures.

Windows on ARM architectures, who would’ve guessed? Actually the rumor mills had been talking about it. Today Microsoft announces support of System on a Chip Architectures From Intel, AMD, and ARM for next version of Windows.

Next version of Windows? Do you mean Windows 8?
Microsoft have not officially called the next version of Windows as Windows 8 yet.

Is it anything new?
Not really. Windows NT kernel was ported to PPC and DEC-Alpha back in the 90’s. Actually it took Microsoft’s way too long to add suports for ARM architecture.

What’s next?
Steve Ballmer’s CES Keynote at 6:30 PM Pacific Time. CNET is covering it Live.
Live Video feed, or is it?
