…And Justice For All (2018 Reissues)

Bang Your Heads Like It Is 1988… again!

The reissue and expanded version of “…And Justice For All” is coming on November 2, 2018.

Thanks to Metallica.com, we get the Cassette and 3CD versions a little bit early; the Box Set is scheduled to arrive on the release date.

…And Justice For All” (Wikipedia) was originally released on August 25, 1988. It was the first full-length record featuring Jason Newsted on bass, filling in for Cliff Burton who was tragically killed in a bus accident on September 27, 1986. The song “One” is notable for being the first video single from Metallica. It was also nominated and won for the first Grammy Award for Best Metal Performance.

This reissue is remastered but not remixed. For those who hoped for the bass tracked to be turned up in the mixed shouldn’t hold their breath.

The Cassette version also comes with MP3 Download card.

What is this and what can I do with it?

Something just arrived in the mail and we’re not really sure what it is. Sure it has “Metallica” name on it, but it doesn’t fit in any devices in the office and in the house.

Upon further inspections, we have a 1987 German pressing of Metallica “The $5.98 EP – Garage Days Re-Revisited” CD in our collections. Now to think of it, we also had the Vinyl, but we couldn’t find it.

Metallica “The $5.98 EP – Garage Days Re-Revisited” Remastered is slated for release on April 13, 2018.

The Remastered EP is coming in Vinyl, CD and Cassette Tape. Yeah, sadly we know what Cassette and 8-Track Tapes are; that’s because we used to work at a radio station in the Mid-90’s.

The Cassette Tape and the Vinyls pre-orders were sold out at Metallica.com. They might have some of them on the release day, Friday, April 13, 2018.
