Felis Catus System Administrator

Meatloaf T. Cat, System Administrator

Hi, I would like to reintroduce myself.

My name is Meatloaf T. Cat, the “T” stands for “The“.
I am a System Administrator, fluent in Linux, Mac, and Windows; maybe some other operating systems too.

I generally write cat-related posts on this site. I will be writing a few more posts featuring some of my favorite cat photos.

Meow!

Random Pick: Canon Extension Tube EF25 II

Looking into some Macro Photography with your Canon DSLR Cameras? You should consider getting an extension tube just like Canon Extension Tube EF25 II.

Canon Extension Tube EF25 II

I’ve got this Canon Extension Tube EF25 II yesterday. I’ll be using it a bit more if I want to write something more in-depth about it.

Working with what you have.

I was called into a small photo shoot session today. Right before the session started, someone suggested that “behind the scene” video would be a great idea. Unfortunately no one brought a real video cameras other than their phones and point-and-shoot cameras. Well, if no one counted the Digital SLR’s.

I ended up using my Canon EOS 60D to shoot the video while someone else took the pictures.

You have to work with what you have.

Noted and added to the calendar.

UPDATE:
Magic Lantern Xmas Edition firmware is available here. It is available for 60D, 50D, 600D (T3i), 550D (T2i) and 500D (T1i).

Team Magic Lantern is bringing HDR video recording on select Canon DSLRs. This Magic Lantern firmware will be available for Canon 550D (T2i), 600D (T3i), and 60D DSLRs starting 2011-12-22 at 22:12 GMT. For my fellow Pacific Timers, that’s 1412 hours or 02:12 PM. Magic Lantern firmware can be downloaded here.

I have a Canon EOS 60D that I can install the firmware on.
