Fire Hydrant broke and created spectacular fountain in Costa Mesa, California. (UPDATED)

UPDATED:

Water main Fire hydrant broke during the rain and created a 40-foot fountain on a strip mall parking lot at the intersection of Baker Street and Bear Street in Costa Mesa, California today. Numbers of bystanders captured the video on their iPhones. The video footage should hit the Internet by now.

A few cars are parked directly under this impromptu fountain. One care was reportedly suffered major water damage.

Amazon.com starts collecting California Sales Tax on Saturday September 15th, 2012.

The day has finally come as Amazon.com starts collecting California Sales Tax, effective September 15th, 2012. Amazon and California signed the deal back in September 2011. Amazon now can offer 1-day and same day shipping by placing distribution centers in California.

As long as Amazon offers competitive pricing in addition to fast delivery, California residents would keep their business relationship with the online retailer giant.

Amazon.com founder and CEO Jeff Bezos supports the streamlined sales tax initiative, which should be legislated by the federal government.
