Earlier today, Apple and Parallels released Boot Camp 1.3 beta and Parallels Desktop for Mac 3.0 respectively.

What is your official upgrade policy?
Updates usually contain minor bug fixes and improvements (for example, Parallels Desktop for Mac 2.5 is an update to Parallels Desktop for Mac 2.2). You can get updates of your Parallels product free of charge.
Upgrades introduce substantial changes and add brand new features (for example, Parallels Desktop for Mac 3.0 is an upgrade to Parallels Desktop for Mac 2.5). Upgrades cost 60% of the full product price.
