I really think that this is funny. I want to know what software can bypass the product activation and interfere with “normal” Windows operation? Bypassing Windows product activation is a wrong wrong thing to do. Microsoft reserves the right to dub their customers as software pirates.
Yahoo!, WordPress Upgrade, and Exploding Database.
I started 37prime.com in 2006 and it is hosted by Yahoo! services. I was glad to find out that Yahoo! web-hosting supported WordPress blog. So I started a WordPress Blog back in 2006. After a while, it seems that Yahoo! no longer keeping up-to-date with WordPress updates. Yahoo!-installed WordPress blogs stuck at version 2.0.2 while newer versions became available. At the time of this posting, 2.3.3 is the latest version of WordPress. I tried upgrading the Yahoo!-installed WordPress, and I could only go up to version 2.0.7, but it was not entirely functional. WP-Cache no longer worked, and some themes are incompatible with version 2.0.x of WordPress.
Now that Yahoo! hosting supports WordPress 2.3.2 for new install, but not for upgrade. This is frustrating.
On March 1st, I started having little problems with the MySql database, and it showed on the WordPress Blog. The more I tried to fix it, the worse it got. To a point, the database was totally corrupted, and I had to restore it to the last good back-up; and that was from October 2007.
Anyway, I decided to install WordPress myself on Yahoo! hosting, and manage to install version 2.3.3 of the software. I decided to leave 37primeBlog as is and continues with 37prime.news from now on. UPDATE: 37primeBlog database is now completely corrupted, it is gone now.
The good news is that 37prime.news is now linked to 37prime.wordpress.com, thanks to all of WordPress API keys. I can now use WordPress.com Global Dashboard for both blogs. I am planning to mirror the postings on both 37prime.news and 37prime.wordpress.com; just in case there’s another catastrophic database explosions.
With WordPress 2.3.3, 37prime.news can have more widgets an better customizations. I would like to thank the WordPress.org, WordPress.com, and those who write plug-ins for this wonderful platform.

“One New MacBook Pro Please.”
I am going to the Apple Store this coming Tuesday with Carrie to get her a new MacBook Pro. We still haven’t discussed which model she wants, it would be either the 2.4 GHz w/ 3MB L2 Cache or the 2.5GHz w/ 6MB L2 Cache 15-inch MacBook Pro.
I will update this post after we get the MacBook Pro.
I know I will get this new MacBook Pro too, but I will get it customized with 7200 RPM hard drive, and maybe a 2.6GHz Core 2 Duo Processor.

Time Capsule: 500GB Hard Drive
One question came to mind as Steve Jobs described Time Capsule back on MacWorld San Francisco 2008. What does “sever grade” hard drive mean?
As Time Capsule becomes available in Apple Store and shipped to customers, informations are coming in. One user by the name of “nakedmac” opened up a Time Capsule and posted the pictures on Flickr. It’s a 1 Terabyte Time Capsule and equipped with a Hitachi Deskstar Hard Drive. Many questions if this particular hard drive a a “server grade” hard drive.
I picked up a 500GB Time Capsule at the Apple Store on Friday, February 29th. I found out that this particular Time Capsule is equipped with Seagate Barracuda® ES SATA 3.0Gb/s 500-GB Hard Drive, model number ST3500630NS. According to the specs, it is a server grade hard drive.
My friend pre-ordered a 500GB Time Capsule, and it is currently being shipped directly from Shanghai, China. I’ll find out what model of hard drive comes with his Time Capsule.
I did not open up the Time Capsule. I use Airport Utility 5.2.2 to find out the hard drive model.
Using AirPort Utility 5.3, the hard drive model number will not be displayed.
