SpywareBlaster 5

SpywareBlaster 5 was released on March 1, 2013. Head out to BrightFort.com to download the latest version of SpywareBlaster. I do recommend people to get the Auto Update, for a small fee to support the developer.

Glad to know BrightFort (formerly JavaCoolSoftware) no longer distributes SpywareBlaster through download.com.

Dropbox 2.0

Dropbox 2.0 is out now.

New in 2.0.0:

  • Fix a bug where discrete graphics would be enabled on OSX laptops.
  • Add support for Brazilian Portuguese.
  • Other small fixes.

Here are a few things you should know:

  • It is only enabled on Mac OSX 10.6 (Snow Leopard) and above, and on Windows XP and above.
  • It is not yet enabled on Linux.

Software Update: Flip4Mac 3.1

Flip4Mac 3.1 from Telestream is now available.

Flip4Mac-3.1

New Features:

  • Added support for Retina displays.
  • Added the ability to export to iTunes from Flip Player, including exporting both audio and video, or exporting just the audio portion of a movie.
  • Added iPad mini and iPod Nano scaling presets.

Flip4Mac enables transcoding Windows Media files on the fly in OS X Lion and Mountain Lion.
