Apple Developer Maintenance 20130720

John Gruber thinks that it is bad news since Apple Store was also down.

Apple Store Maintenance 20130720

Obviously his spidey sense is either off or he doesn’t have one at all; John Gruber is not Peter Parker. Apple Store went back online right after Midnight on Sunday July 21, 2013.

During this period, Apple ID site is still working without interruptions.

Apple is expected to release iOS 7 beta 4 and OS X Mavericks Developer Preview 4 on Monday July 22, 2013; based on two week release schedule. Apparently many sites are reporting the obvious as news.

At this point our Apple contacts are either saying nothing or unreachable (out of the country).

Apple Maps cannot correctly locate Apple Store

Let’s just assume that Apple is frantically improving the data set for its own Maps application. Unfortunately there are still some embarrassing errors in Apple Maps. For instance, it cannot correctly locate an Apple Store.

This one has been reported to Apple.

Having fun with EasyPay at Apple Store.

I went to Apple Store earlier today to test out their newly rolled out EasyPay. The EasyPay requires Apple Store app with iPhone 4 or iPhone 4S.

I walked into Apple Store, South Coast Plaza and saw the little signs by the merchandize.

I then took my iPhone out and launched Apple Store app. Immediately it gave me the option to use EasyPay.

Unfortunately I really don’t have anything to buy at the Apple Store.

Well, the next time I really need to buy something from Apple Store I will use EasyScan, if possible. They don’t allow EasyPay to buy a MacBook Pro yet, for some obvious reasons.

Apple Store Goes Offline, White iPhone 4 Rumor Goes Wild.

UPDATE:
Apple Store is back online, and I win the bet. Take that MacRumors and 9to5Mac!

Screen Recording of the Apple site during the update.

Apple Store goes offline and some Apple-centric sites are speculating that the White iPhone 4 is coming.

One thing that I know for sure is that Apple Webmasters are uploading new designs to the site including a few new CSS files. There’s a lot of animations on Apple site now. For example, the main page has the top navigation bar animated when the page load in Safari.

I bet there will be no White iPhone 4 added to the store. Should I lose the bet, I’d buy the White iPhone 4 sans the contract.

Apple Store is Down for maintenance as White iPhone 4 hopefuls hold their breath.

Update:
Apple Store Online is back up. Can’t tell what changes they made yet.

Late Saturday night Cupertino time, Apple Store Online was taken down for updates. As usual, those who care can only speculate what Apple would add to the store. Anecdotally, someone suggested that Apple would add the White iPhone 4 for order while extremely limited supplies last.

Good luck holding your breath.

Waiting for White iPhone 4 is just as good as waiting for official Adobe Flash on iOS devices.

Apple Store is Down for some apparent reasons.

It is reported everywhere that Apple Store Online is down for updates. What would it be?

According to someone who don’t give a damn about this non-news, Apple will be introducing some kind of thing that a small portion of Mac users would buy regardless what the product is.

Actually this is an excuse to post the screenshot from Apple Store App on the iPhone 3GS.

Why iPhone 3GS? No I do not have iPhone 4 yet, leave me alone! Steve Jobs promised me a white iPhone 4 and it’s not here yet. By the word “promise” I meant that Steve Jobs is not obligated to anything. I’m rocking Nexus One as my main phone right now. Thus the Airplane Mode.
