Google announces Nexus S to arrive December 16, 2010.

Fans of Nexus One phone should be thrilled to know that the next Google-sanctioned phone is coming before Christmas. Google and Samsung are collaborating on Nexus S project.

After December 16, Nexus S will be sold unlocked and carrier-independent initially through Best Buy stores in the U.S. and after December 20 at Carphone Warehouse stores in the UK.

Notable features:

  • Quad-band GSM: 850, 900, 1800, 1900 and Tri-band HSPA: 900, 2100, 1700
    In the United States, Nexus S is compatible with T-Mobile 2G & 3G  and AT&T 2G service.
