Sweet Music Box o’ Mine

The crew at Guns N’ Roses sent two music boxes for their “Nightrain” community.

First music box played melody from their 2024 single “The General”, made available for Nightrain packages, Standard and Premium.

Then, there’s the second music box, which they said are given to randomly selected Nightrain members who purchased the premium packages.

Return of The Apple Watch

I took my Series 7 Apple Watch to an Apple Store, for it was having issues with battery and connectivity. For obviously unknown reasons, this Apple Watch stopped communicating with my iPhone. Luckily I still have another older Apple Watch that I could use while having this Apple Watch shipped for replacement.

I received the replacement today. I have not had the chance to pair it with my iPhone.

New Computer, Same SSD

One of the computers at the office was having problems sometimes last week. Since it was a daily driver for one of our associates, I took the computer from our conference room and swap the SSDs (Solid States Drives).

Today, the replacement computer arrived. Now we have working computer at the conference room.

Let The Rain Come

It is raining today, the first 2025 proper rain in Southern California.

It started raining at midnight, then it rained again in the afternoon and throughout the night.

I went to watch Alex Skolnick playing with Stu Hamm Band at The Baked Potato in Studio City. I said hi to Alex right before leaving the venue.

Winter Storm is Coming.

For the last few days Santa Ana winds brought the temperature up significantly in Southern California this Winter. The good news is that rain is coming to Southern California in this season, finally.

We’re looking for ward to the rain.

So Said the Box

At first, I thought I bought a new iPhone mini a few years ago, but no, I bought a refurbished one.

Well actually it was an iPhone assigned to one of my colleagues who preferred a smaller phone.

Nothing But Spam Emails

I was helping an elderly couple cleaning up their email account. Would you be surprised if I told you that they are still using AOL emails?

Well, there were more than 4,000 spam emails in their inbox. It took me quite some time to move them all to the spam folder. Or is it called junk folder?
