Here I am reading through the manual on Windows Migration Assistant. Currently I have been having trouble making this work. There are a few options that I have to configure.
iPhone OS 3.0 Beta: What happened to the icon?
I’m pretty sure it’s one of the bugs in the iPhone OS 3.0 Beta 5. For some reasons, the Calculator icon is permanently replaced with Yahoo! App icon.
I tried uninstalling Yahoo! App and restarting the iPhone but it remained. It’s not a showstopper, but it just a little bit bothering me. So I restored my iPhone Software.

Apple Releases GarageBand 5.0.2 Update
Along with iTunes 8.2 and QuickTime 7.6.2, Apple also releases GarageBand 5.0.2 update today.

This update addresses general compatibility issues, improves overall stability, and fixes a number of other minor issues. The issues addressed include:
- Improved purchasing experience for Artist Lessons in the GarageBand Lesson Store
- Accessing installed Jam Packs in the loop browser
- The update is recommended for all users of GarageBand ’09 and required to use the Lesson Store.

Apple Releases iTunes 8.2 and QuickTime 7.6.2
One week ahead of Worldwide Developer Conference 2009, Apple releases iTunes 8.2 and QuickTime 7.6.2.
iTunes 8.2 and QuickTime 7.6.2 are available for Mac OS X (Tiger and Leopard) and Windows (XP and Vista).

Early preview version of iTunes 8.2 was required to install iPhone OS 3.0 Beta 4 and Beta 5. Since then, no new iPhone OS 3.0 Beta has been released. It is estimated that iPhones OS 3.0 Beta 5 would expire sometimes late June 2009. That means a new build of iPhone OS 3.0 should be release in the near future. Possibly to coincide with WWDC 2009. The shipping version of iPhone OS 3.0 is expected to be released in mid-July along with the new iPhone hardware(s).
Windows Vista Service Pack 2 is Available for Download.
Microsoft released Windows Vista Service Pack 2 on Tuesday May 26th, 2009. The Service Pack 2 is for Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008, 32-bit and 64-bit version.
It is now available through Windows Update or Microsoft Download Center.
