Apple and Java: How low can Slashdot go?

I’d really want to title this post: “Shit Slashdot Say” but it wouldn’t be fair to the rest of Slashdot users.

To be honest, are there any actual Mac users other than the one Slashdot user imagined angered by Apple by silently shutting down Java 7? In addition to that, the posting on Slashdot was 2 days late. Oracle released Java 7 Update 13 on February 1, 2013. Typical Apple-hating Slashdot user.

Now if only Meatloaf is here to give them the “You’ve gotta be kidding me!” award.

Mockup of a larger iPhone

Just another mockup of a larger iPhone with 640-by-1156 resolution screen at 264 pixels per inch. It would have made a lot of sense for Apple to use the existing Retina iPad screen production for the larger iPhone.

Windows 8 Developer Preview on MacBook

I installed a 2.5-inch SATA hard drive with Windows 8 Developer Preview on a MacBook. It boots up just fine with the exception with the MacBook trackpad driver. Gotta give Microsoft credit for making Windows 8 compatible with older hardwares such as this MacBook.
