Unlike its predecessor, Plants vs. Zombies 2 is free to download and offers In-App-Purchases from the get go; this has drawn a lot of criticism from gamers. At a glance, it seems that the game requires players to buy certain plants with real money. In reality, the game offers impatient players a chance to buy the plants instead of earning them.
