Can you tell that I am a Van Halen fan?
Just delivered yesterday, an Edward Van Halen Funko Pop with 1978 Eruption Guitar.
Correction, it is 1978 Eruption Guitar, not 1976.
If you need USB-C to USB-A cable to use CarPlay and iPhone 15., make sure it is a data cable.
There are some USB-C to USB-A cables that is designed for one way charging, which will not work for CarPlay.
I prefer thin and braided USB-C to USB-A cables.
Now I want Wireless CarPlay.
I just received a few UGREN UGREEN USB-C to USB-A Cables today.
UGREEN USB 3.0 Fast Charging Cable, 3.3ft
UGREEN USB A to USB C Cable, Type C Fast Charger Cable 6.6ft
UGREEN USB C Cable 2 Pack USB C Fast Charging Cable 3A USB Cable 6.6 ft
All of the cables are braided and thin, as the 6.6ft versions are thinner than its 3.3ft counterpart.
All 3 cables can be used with iPhone 15 and CarPlay in cars that only have USB-A ports.
In previous post, I tested an Anker PowerLine II UGREEN USB-C to USB-A Cable for iPhone 15 and CarPlay compatibility. Yes it is compatible, but the cable itself is thick and a bit too stiff. I’ll be using this cable as USB-C data-transfer cable with computers.
If you’re looking for iPhone 15/iPhone 15 Pro and CarPlay compatible USB-C to USB 3.1 Gen2 cable, you might want to try Anker PowerLine II cable.
I happened to have a braided Anker PowerLine+ II USB-C to USB-A cable that I bought back in 2018; which is no longer available for purchase. It works with iPhone 15 for CarPlay; for CarPlay-compatible automobiles that are still equipped with USB-A port.
I also have some other USB-C to USB-A cables. Almost all of them are not CarPlay compatible as they are primarily charging cables; not for data transfers.
I just received Anker PowerLine II USB-C to USB 3.1 Gen2 cable; it works with iPhone 15 and CarPlay.
I’m ordering a few more cables to test if they work with iPhone 15 and CarPlay.
Can someone help me figure out which side their gas tank is on?
T-minus one week to Apple September 12 special event.
I finished setting up the laptop that I had been working on throughout the weekend. Hard-drive is encrypted, VPN is set, and it is ready for deployment.
By the way, I did go to the Car Wash since my car needed one.
