It’s in the mail: American Dad, Family Guy and South Park.

After waiting for quite a while, I finally ordered the DVD set that I have been wanting to purchase. I noticed that the pricing for South Park: The Complete Twelfth Season was at $18.99 instead of $33.99. That’s what prompting me to make the purchase.

South Park: The Complete Twelfth Season is also available on Blu-ray.

If you feel like watching any South Park episodes, all you need are decent computer and decent Internet connection. Go to South Park Studios, and you can watch every single South Park episode.

You can also watch many episodes of American Dad at Hulu.com. Hulu is not available in many countries though.

In addition to that, a limited amount of Family Guy episodes are also available at Hulu.com.

Mac OS X Snow Leopard: Apps that no longer work.

Some apps are not compatible yet with Snow Leopard.

Cyberduck | Probably because the Finder is rewritten.
iStumbler | Probably because the AirPort Software is different.
folder.qlgenerator | Once again, that’s probably the Finder is rewritten.
Apple Remote Desktop Admin | The built-in client in Snow Leopard is version 3.3, the current release is 3.2.2.

Iran asks BBC reporter to leave (BBC) | This is no surprise because Iranian Government is running out of ideas and excuses. Iran is about to implode. Something similar happened about 11 years ago in another country.
Apple issuing $30 iTunes credit for AT&T activation issues (9to5Mac) | A lot of people opted to do online order instead of lining up at the stores.
Regarding the WSJ’s Report That Steve Jobs Had a Liver Transplant (Daring Fireball) | As usual it’s a good read from John Grubber.

Facebook App is Now iPhone OS 3.0 Compliant.

It’s almost morning and I’m still awake. Lo and behold, Facebook App is now iPhone OS 3.0 compliant. OK, there’s nothing else going on before the dawn. Apparently it is some kinda Father’s Day today.

OK seriously, I need to get some sleep!

GarageBand ’09: Crashing Problem.

According to a colleague, GarageBand ’09 often crashes when changing project tempo. While there is no known fix yet, we’re expecting Apple to release update to GarageBand, hopefully soon.

Google is Reported to Reserve 1 Million Phone Numbers for Google Voice.

PC World said that Google is reported to have reserved 1 Million Phone Number for its Google Voice service. This is good news if it’s true, because the service has not been made available to new users even after Google rebranded GrandCentral into Google Voice back on March 11th, 2009.

Google Voice is currently available for existing GrandCentral users. It is unclear if Google Voice will be made available for users outside The United States.

Anything Goes: June 20th, 2009 Edition.

Slacking is good, as I’ve been convincing myself. It’s Saturday and I’m still reading stuff off the internet.

First I’ve finished installing new hard drive on my MacBook Pro Core Duo, 20 minutes after I stareted it. Along the way I also managed to “fix” my keyboard. For a few days I’ve been having lots of typoes including the letter “t.” Apparently a drop of liquid caused the “g, r, and y” key to trigger the “t” key. I’m glad it is fixed now.

About the 1st generation iPhone/push notification post: an apology (TUAW) | TUAW was quick to jump to conclusions.
Microsoft confirms Nvidia ‘Tegra’ chip for Zune HD (CNET) | Pretty powerful chip from NVIDIA. Note to CNET: It is “Hybrid Digital” Radio, not “High-Definition” Radio.
Smart fish discovered in Europe (worldarea.info) | I for one welcome our fish overlord.
New Kids on the Block blame lousy ticket sales on recession (WalletPop) | Are you sure that recession is to blame? New Kids on The Block is now a novelty-cash-grabbing-reunion-act. It is a simple supply-and-demand situation.
