It seems that Apple do have a succession plan.

I went to Fry’s to pick-up a 10-foot-HDMI Cable for $5 the other night. As usual I walked around the store and saw a retail box of Disco Burning App. For a mere $39.99 you can own this fantastic App.

The Downward Spiral: HP Pre3 is not coming to US, will be steeply discounted in Europe.
We just got off the phone with our Paris, France associates. We just asked them to buy some HP Pre3 when it goes on clearance sale in France. If it would only cost $75, then we would get a few of the HP Pre3. We would’ve bought HP Pre3 here in the US, unfortunately HP has just canceled the US launch as reported by PC Magazine.
Bear in mind that the France version of HP Pre3 supports only Dual-band UMTS/HSDPA (900/1900/2100) and Quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE (850/900/1800/1900 MHz. That means it is compatible with T-Mobile USA 3G network but not on AT&T’s. On AT&T it would work only on the Edge network.
On related news, HP will be selling the remaining inventory of its webOS phones at discounted prices. HP Pre2 will be sold for $49.
HP TouchPad is sold out at HP.com.
Well, it didn’t take long considering HP was having so much trouble with their server the whole Saturday and Sunday morning. HP.com has sold out of TouchPad.
If you are looking to get your hands on this recently discontinued webOS tablet at a steep discount, you might want to check Best Buy or other retailers. Best Buy is clearing out its TouchPad inventory in lieu of sending them back to HP as the big box retailer intended to do earlier.
HP TouchPad 16GB is sold out at HP.com.
HP is now fresh out of the 16GB model of its recently discontinued TouchPad.
If you are looking into getting HP TouchPad at a steeply discounted price, check your local stores early in the morning. Office Depot is reportedly shipping all of its remaining HP TouchPad stock to their stores on Monday August 22nd, 2011. A few Staples stores in Southern California are reportedly to have limited quantities of HP TouchPad.
Oops, I accidentally ordered 3 HP TouchPads.
Thanks to the super slowness of HP server, I apparently ordered 3 HP TouchPads. Well, in retrospect the total order equals the price of one HP TouchPad prior to August 19th. Let’s see if HP would fulfill the order.
