One Uninterruptible Power Supply started beeping earlier today. Upon inspection the battery must be replaced.
It is an 8-year-old APC branded UPS. I need to get a replacement as soon as possible.

Farewell to a friend.
Our good friend Dave passed away last Thursday and we had a funeral earlier today. Dave was gadget enthusiast who had been introducing a lot of mobile phones to us for the past 5 years. There were the Nokia, HTC, Samsung, Motorola and many other phones he purchased and let us use. In 2007, Dave gave one of the phones to a friend who had her phone broken without even asking anything in return.
We all miss you Dave.
Skype for iPad 2, that would be awesome.
TUAW reports that an iPad 2 optimized version of Skype is coming.
That would certainly be awesome. Other chat program such as Yahoo! Messenger and AIM are iPad optimized. The question is when would Microsoft release this app?

Apple released Mac OS X 10.6.8 as expected ahead of OS X Lion. It is available through Software Update and Apple Support Downloads page.

One conversation with fellow editors today was about Final Cut Pro X. Some hates it and some loves it. Give it some time for Apple to add features to Final Cut Pro X.

By the way, how do you pronounce the “X” in Final Cut Pro X?
