MobileMe’s Last Stand.

MobileMe service is set to end today. For those who have not copied the content of their iDisk should do it right now. Move your MobileMe account to iCloud.

iCloud is a MobileMe replacement and it comes with 5 GB of free storage. User can purchase additional storage space.

  • Additional 10 GB costs $20.00 / year
  • Additional 20 GB costs $40.00 / year
  • Additional 50 GB costs $100.00 / year

 

Samsung Galaxy Nexus is preliminary banned in the USA.

I am pretty sure the it was an album title. Yep there’s an album titled “Banned in the USA” for sure.

Apple wins U.S. preliminary injunction against the Samsung/Google Galaxy Nexus over Siri patent

Judge Lucy Koh of the United States District Court for the Northern District of California has just granted Apple a preliminary injunction against the Samsung Galaxy Nexus, an Android-based smartphone co-developed by Samsung and Google.

In the meantime, Google dropped the unlocked Galaxy Nexus price by $50 at Google Play Store; from $399 to $349. Better get it before the ban took effect.

Apple iPhone Turns Five Years Old.

Apple iPhone went on sale on June 29th, 2007; that’s five years to the day. Yes, it is five years old, and I am using it again just for today.

I am looking forward to the next iPhone which will be unveiled in 3 months.

Google Drive for iOS.

Google Drive for iOS is now available at the App Store.

Google Drive comes with 5 GB of free storage. Additional 25 GB of storage for Drive and Picasa costs $24.99/year. The additional storage is also available through in-app-purchase; that means Apple is getting $7.50 for each upgrade through the app.

Google drive is also available for Android, Mac and Windows OS.

WordPress 3.4.1

WordPress 3.4.1 is now available.

One interesting point from the release note:

  • Adds early support for uploading images on iOS 6 devices.

I bet there are significant numbers of iOS developers running their own WordPress site.
