Phil Schiller confirms OS X Yosemite Public Beta is coming on July 24, 2014

The news broke and many sites reported that OS X Yosemite Public Beta is coming on Thursday, July 24, 2014.

Apple Senior Vice President of Worldwide Product Marketing, Phil Schiller tweeted:

OS X Yosemite Public Beta is limited to the first one million people who sign up. Should you be interested to sign up, you should have signed up back in June right after during WWDC 2014.

OS X Yosemite Developer Preview 4 build 14A298i is quite stable, but not without some serious bugs. With that in mind, it is highly recommended to install OS X Yosemite Beta on a secondary Mac or on its own partition/drive.

Apple Releases Safari 4 Public Beta

Apple releases Safari 4 Public Beta today. It is available for Mac OS X (Tiger and Leopard) and Windows (XP and Vista).

Safari 4 Public Beta includes Nitro engine and slew of new features such as Top Sites, Full History Search, Cover Flow, and Tabs on Top.
