Prior to installing it on the MacBook Pro, I went to SanDisk site and download <a href=\"http:\/\/kb.sandisk.com\/app\/answers\/detail\/a_id\/9328\/\" target=\"_blank\">the latest firmware<\/a> for this SanDisk Extreme SSD.<\/p>\n<p>Mac users should update the firmware to the latest version before installing it on their Macs. That&#8217;s because the firmware updaters most likely requires Windows.
