{"id":762,"date":"2008-06-10T15:38:45","date_gmt":"2008-06-10T23:38:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/37prime.wordpress.com\/?p=762"},"modified":"2008-06-10T15:38:45","modified_gmt":"2008-06-10T23:38:45","slug":"panasonic-hdc-sd9-playing-nice-with-imovie-712","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/37prime.com\/news\/2008\/06\/10\/panasonic-hdc-sd9-playing-nice-with-imovie-712\/","title":{"rendered":"Panasonic HDC-SD9: Playing nice with iMovie 7.1.2"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/37prime.com\/news\/?p=161\" target=\"_self\"><strong>UPDATE:<\/strong><\/a><br \/>\nIt seems that <a href=\"http:\/\/www.apple.com\/quicktime\/download\/\" target=\"_blank\">QuickTime 7.5<\/a> update adds the compatibilities between <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/dp\/B0011FTKFY\/?tag=37prime-20\" target=\"_blank\">Panasonic HDC-SD9<\/a> and iMovie &#8217;08, Final Cut Express 4, and Final Cut Pro 6.<\/p>\n<p>UPDATE:<br \/>\nThanks to James and Hans Eklundh for confirming that QuickTime 7.5 now supports PAL\/European HDC-SD9.<\/p>\n<p>Immediately after applying iMovie 7.1.2 update, I recorded a number of videos on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/dp\/B0011FTKFY\/?tag=37prime-20\" target=\"_blank\">Panasonic HDC-SD9<\/a>.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>HA1920<\/li>\n<li>HA1920 24p<\/li>\n<li>HG1920<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I managed to import the videos without any problems at all, and the audio is in sync with the video. Previously, iMovie &#8217;08 was unable to import the video from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/dp\/B0011FTKFY\/?tag=37prime-20\" target=\"_blank\">Panasonic HDC-SD9<\/a> correctly. It crashes during HA1920 import.
