I decided to refrain from installing Office 2011 until I had the ADATA S559 SandForce SSD in the MacBook Pro. That was Wednesday and Thursday. As of this writing, I have barely used Office 11 on this MacBook Pro. So, I&#8217;m not gonna even try writing any sort of reviews. Instead I&#8217;ll be writing some facts about it.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"Microsoft-Office-2011-DVD\" src=\"http:\/\/37prime.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/Microsoft-Office-2011-DVD.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"414\" \/><\/p>\n<p>There are numerous versions of Microsoft Office 2011:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Microsoft Office for Mac Home and Business 2011<\/li>\n<li>Microsoft Office for Mac Home and Student 2011<\/li>\n<li>Microsoft Office for Mac Academic 2011<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"Microsoft-Office-2011-Install\" src=\"http:\/\/37prime.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/Microsoft-Office-2011-Install.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"620\" height=\"440\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Note: The screenshot was taken after Office 2011 was already installed on the system. The second time the installer runs, it says &#8220;Upgrade&#8221; on the install.<\/p>\n<p>Core applications included in Microsoft Office 2011:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Microsoft Word<\/li>\n<li>Microsoft Excel<\/li>\n<li>Microsoft PowerPoint<\/li>\n<li>Microsoft Outlook (not available in Microsoft Office for Mac Home and Student 2011)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Other applications:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Microsoft Messenger<\/li>\n<li>Microsoft Communicator<\/li>\n<li>Remote Desktop Connection for Mac<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/37prime.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/Microsoft-Office-2011.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"Microsoft-Office-2011\" src=\"http:\/\/37prime.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/Microsoft-Office-2011.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"480\" height=\"270\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Thanks to the SSD on the MacBook Pro, any Office 2011 applications launched almost instantly. So at this time I can&#8217;t really comment much about it.
