Apparently Motorola won&#8217;t be going the Windows Phone 7 way in favor of Android. It is obvious that Microsoft is losing the grip and going lawsuit happy.<\/p>\n<p>Anyone remembers that <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wired.com\/gadgetlab\/2010\/04\/microsoft-htc-android-patent\/\" target=\"_blank\">HTC signed a &#8220;Patent deal&#8221;<\/a> related to Android with Microsoft? I really thought that <a href=\"http:\/\/source.android.com\/about\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\">Android is an Open Source Project led by Google<\/a>. How can Microsoft asserting Patent right to someone else&#8217;s product?<\/p>\n<p>Well, Microsoft has been claiming that another Open Source Project named <a href=\"http:\/\/money.cnn.com\/magazines\/fortune\/fortune_archive\/2007\/05\/28\/100033867\/index.htm\" target=\"_blank\">Linux is violating their Patents<\/a>. Novell was quick to &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.novell.com\/linux\/microsoft\/faq.html\" target=\"_blank\">collaborate<\/a>&#8221; with Microsoft. Linus Torvald <a href=\"http:\/\/www.informationweek.com\/news\/global-cio\/showArticle.jhtml?articleID=199600443\" target=\"_blank\">disagrees<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>There are a lot of people who feel disgusted with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.engadget.com\/2010\/03\/02\/apple-sues-htc-for-infringing-20-iphone-patents\/\" target=\"_blank\">Apple suing HTC<\/a>, and a lot of them cheered when HTC signe a deal with Microsoft. What is wrong with this picture? It is just like defending a castle from attacks by surrendering to another enemy with a bigger army. You still lose!<\/p>\n<p>Shame on you, Microsoft.
