Not once but multiple times on different podcasts, <a href=\"http:\/\/37prime.com\/media\/leo_laporte_the_tech_guy_651start_1_49_20.mp3\" target=\"_blank\">Leo insists that Apple always make iPhone announcement in March\u00a0 for June\/July release<\/a> (particular audio sample taken from <a href=\"http:\/\/twit.tv\/ttg651\" target=\"_blank\">Leo Laporte &#8211; The Tech Guy 651<\/a>, a Nationally syndicated radio show). I don&#8217;t want to waste more time listening to the podcasts again just to find the same thing Leo is saying with regard to iPhone announcement.<\/p>\n<p>Since when Apple announced the iPhone in March every single year starting 2007?<\/p>\n<p>Let&#8217;s see.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li> The first <a href=\"http:\/\/www.apple.com\/pr\/library\/2007\/01\/09iphone.html\" target=\"_blank\">iPhone was announce at MacWorld San Francisco on January 9th<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.apple.com\/pr\/library\/2007\/06\/28iphone.html\" target=\"_blank\">released on June 29th, 2007<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.apple.com\/pr\/library\/2008\/06\/09iphone.html\" target=\"_blank\">iPhone 3G and iPhone OS 2.0 were announced at WWDC 2008 on June 9th<\/a> and released on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.apple.com\/pr\/library\/2008\/07\/10iphone.html\" target=\"_blank\">July 11th, 2008<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/37prime.com\/news\/2009\/03\/16\/iphone-os-30-event-live-coverage-links\/\" target=\"_blank\">iPhone OS 3.0 was announced on March 16th, 2009<\/a> and released on <a href=\"http:\/\/37prime.com\/news\/2009\/06\/17\/iphone-os-3-0-is-officially-released\/\" target=\"_blank\">June 17th, 2009<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.apple.com\/pr\/library\/2009\/06\/08iphone.html\" target=\"_blank\">iPhone 3GS was announced at WWDC 2009 on June 8th<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/37prime.com\/news\/2009\/06\/19\/iphone-3g-s-reports-from-orange-county-california\/\" target=\"_blank\">released on June 19th, 2009<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I do not see Apple announcing any iPhone anytime in March. Leo only got one thing right, the new iPhone was released during June\/July timeframe. Leo Laporte, Sir you are still wrong.<\/p>\n<p>Update: Apple gave a sneak preview to iPhone OS 3.0 on March 16th, 2009. Apple never mentioned what the next subsequent iPhone hardware would be.
