{"id":240,"date":"2007-04-08T02:06:03","date_gmt":"2007-04-08T09:06:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/37prime.wordpress.com\/2007\/04\/08\/windows-cursor-patch-bonjour-and-hp-laserjet-2015\/"},"modified":"2007-04-08T02:06:03","modified_gmt":"2007-04-08T09:06:03","slug":"windows-cursor-patch-bonjour-and-hp-laserjet-2015","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/37prime.com\/news\/2007\/04\/08\/windows-cursor-patch-bonjour-and-hp-laserjet-2015\/","title":{"rendered":"Windows Cursor Patch, Bonjour, and HP LaserJet 2015"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Microsoft released the &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/technet\/security\/Bulletin\/MS07-017.mspx\" target=\"_blank\">Windows cursor patch<\/a>&#8221; on Tuesday (04.03.2007) a week ahead of their usual &#8220;Patch Tuesday.&#8221; There has been reports that the patch is incompatible with some Realtek device drivers.<\/p>\n<p>For some reasons, a number of computers running Windows XP are no longer able printing to a networked <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/exec\/obidos\/ASIN\/B000JL95AQ\/37prime-20?tag=37prime-20\" target=\"_blank\">HP LaserJet 2015DN<\/a> through <a href=\"http:\/\/www.apple.com\/support\/downloads\/bonjourforwindows.html\" target=\"_blank\">Bonjour<\/a>. The rest of the computers in the same office running Windows 2000 (through Bonjour), Mac OS X (also through Bonjour) and Linux  (through LPR) can still print to the same printer.<\/p>\n<p>Not sure if the Windows cursor patch caused this, but the the problem started after the update was applied.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ll figure out what really went wrong.<\/p>\n<p>I have been using <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/exec\/obidos\/ASIN\/B000JL95AQ\/37prime-20?tag=37prime-20\" target=\"_blank\">HP LaserJet 2015DN<\/a> for about six weeks now, and liking it a lot.
