As mentioned in the email, the dealer pricing was\u00a0$399.95 plus tax. I was hoping that the loaner Mazda3 would have CarPlay installed, but it did not. I was told that November 21, 2018 was <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/mazdausa\/status\/1065386439351783425\">the first day<\/a> the dealer starts providing the upgrade.<\/p>\n<p>Around 3:00 pm, I received a notification that my car was ready. I left for the dealer to pickup my car. After signing the paperwork and making the payment for the installation, I finally got into my Mazda3.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-17039\" src=\"https:\/\/37prime.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/Mazda-Apple-CarPlay-Paperwork.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1920\" height=\"1080\" srcset=\"https:\/\/37prime.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/Mazda-Apple-CarPlay-Paperwork.jpg 1920w, https:\/\/37prime.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/Mazda-Apple-CarPlay-Paperwork-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/37prime.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/Mazda-Apple-CarPlay-Paperwork-768x432.jpg 768w, https:\/\/37prime.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/Mazda-Apple-CarPlay-Paperwork-1024x576.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 767px) 89vw, (max-width: 1000px) 54vw, (max-width: 1071px) 543px, 580px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I connected my iPhone to the newly upgraded 2.1-amp USB port and turned the car on. The $399.95 + tax seems a bit high according tony colleagues.
