A colleague of mine asked me if I could “unbend” his iPhone 5. I found out that the battery was swelling and pushed the screen out.\u00a0I then proceeded toat take the screws out and removed the battery.<\/p>\n

As of August 29, 2016, Apple is offering $75 in gift card for iPhone 5 trade-in. Apple charges\u00a0$79 for out of warranty battery replacement<\/a>.
