{"id":10928,"date":"2013-12-13T03:45:48","date_gmt":"2013-12-13T11:45:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/37prime.wordpress.com\/?p=10928"},"modified":"2013-12-13T03:45:48","modified_gmt":"2013-12-13T11:45:48","slug":"downgrading-nexus-4-to-android-jelly-bean-4-3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/37prime.com\/news\/2013\/12\/13\/downgrading-nexus-4-to-android-jelly-bean-4-3\/","title":{"rendered":"Downgrading Nexus 4 to Android Jelly Bean 4.3"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Shortly after I updated my Nexus 4 from Android KitKat 4.4 to 4.4.2 and finding out that tethering was still broken, I downgraded to Android Jelly Bean 4.3.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cultofandroid.com\/46632\/downgrade-nexus-4-to-android-4-3-jelly-bean-from-kitkat\/\" target=\"_blank\">downgrading process<\/a> included <a href=\"http:\/\/forum.xda-developers.com\/showthread.php?t=2266654\" target=\"_blank\">unlocking the bootloader<\/a> and installing <a href=\"https:\/\/developers.google.com\/android\/nexus\/images#occamjwr66y\" target=\"_blank\">Nexus 4 Android Jelly Bean 4.3 factory image<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Nexus 4 back to Android Jelly Bean 4.3\" src=\"http:\/\/37prime.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/Nexus-4-back-to-Android-Jelly-Bean-4.3.jpg\" width=\"960\" height=\"540\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Within the hour I once again have a functional\u00a0 Nexus 4 mobile hotspot.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Nexus 4 Tethering and Mobile Hotspot\" src=\"http:\/\/37prime.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/Nexus-4-Tethering-and-Mobile-Hotspot.jpg\" width=\"960\" height=\"540\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I do not use the Nexus 4 as a phone.
