03.09.2006 Microsoft Will Not Support EFI Booting on Windows Vista
Microsoft once again removes another feature off its next Windows Operating System. Microsoft reveals that they decided to remove EFI support from Windows Vista. This is a surprise since EFI support was included in Windows Vista Beta. Microsoft is said to include EFI support on their next Windows Server.

Apple Computer is recently using EFI on their newly released Intel-based Macs. Many enthusiasts were hoping to run both Macintosh and Windows Operating Systems on the Intel Macs, and this announcement seems to crush their "dreams".
Numbers of people comment that Microsoft doesn't want their Operating System to run on the Intel Macs, that would be the precursor to people switching from Windows to Mac OS.
