AppleCare+ Pricing for iPhone XS and iPhone XR

From the “why am I paying more and more for the iPhone” department:

Under both AppleCare+ plans, each accidental damage incident is subject to a service fee or deductible of $29 for screen damage or $99 for any other accidental damage. Theft or loss deductibles vary: $199 for iPhone 7 and iPhone 8, $229 for iPhone 7 Plus and iPhone 8 Plus, $229 for iPhone XR, $269 for iPhone XS or iPhone XS Max. Taxes may apply. Note:

I have issues with the naming and typeface of iPhone branding.

iPhone XR vs iPhone Xr

Apple seems to be using Capital “S” and “R” but in smaller size in their own press release.

Comic Neue

Comic Neue:

It’s perfect as a display face, for marking up comments, and writing passive aggressive office memos.

I am not passive aggresive

To use Comic Neue, simply install the TrueType files on your system. To use in your online projects EOT and WOFF files are also included, and a font.css file with @font-face rules makes implementation a copy and paste away. No attribution is required, this free version of Comic Neue has been released into the public domain.

Web-font and public domain. I’ve downloaded and installed Comic Neue.

Font Rendering on Web Browsers

It is interesting how different Web Browsers render fonts. I wonder why Google Chrome on this particular computer running Windows 7 doesn’t render the fonts correctly.
