Android 2.2.2 FRG83G for Nexus One. January 23, 2011
Posted by very in : Announcement, Media, News, Resources, Tech , add a commentI received an email from a colleague late last night:
Weird, my phone updated to 2.2.2 frg83g.
He is referring to his Nexus One receiving Froyo 2.2.2 OTA update. I have a Nexus One also, but I have yet received the Froyo 2.2.2 OTA update. As a matter of fact I’m anticipating Gingerbread 2.3 to be delivered to Nexus One based on the tweet by @googlenexus back in December 20th, 2010. One month in, and still no news about Gingerbread for Nexus One.
I could install a custom Android 2.3 firmware, but I am waiting for the official version.
