Our Friend, Comedian Cain Lopez Passed Away. July 10, 2009
Posted by very in : Announcement, Comedian, Comedy, Entertainment, Media, News, Resources, TV , trackbackSad news, our Comedian Friend Cain Lopez passed away at 2:00 PM Thursday July 9th, 2009. He was hospitalized since May 30th for an illness that was later found to be lung cancer.
Cain was diagnosed and treated for jaw cancer back in 2003. He reportedly was having trouble breathing back in May 2009 and was admitted to the hospital where he’s diagnosed with some form of lung cancer.
Cain’s family were by his side during his stay in the ICU. Many of his comedian friends visited him during his last few days. A pleasant surprise came from George Lopez who left a moving message through Darren Carter.
I saw Cain Lopez performed number of times before introduced to him by Darren Carter. I took Lopez’s picture at Denny’s in Fullerton on December 23rd, 2009.

What a wonderful person. Never heard a negative comment about him. He always had a very positive attitude even during his last days. May God receive him in heaven. Bless his soul.

I find comfort in knowing he is making every angel in heaven laugh, that his smile will radiate through the clouds and continue to bring smiles to his many fans that loved him as endlessly as I did. even on his death bed he made people laugh, and I will miss him so very much…..
