Canon Vixia HG10 Raw AVCHD Sample December 1, 2008
Posted by very in : AVCHD, Announcement, Applications, Apps, Media, Movies, News, Resources, Tech , trackbackIt took me a while to get to it, but here it is as promised, Canon Vixia HG10 raw AVCHD sample. The jitters in the movie is from the vibration of the car and the speakers as I placed the camcorder on the dashboard. The Image Stabilizer in this camcorder does work some wonders.

Inside the ZIP file, there is an mountable ISO file.
For Mac OS X users, if the ISO does not mount, use Toast or any other programs until I upload a DMG file.
I will be posting Canon Vixia HG20 raw AVCHD sample soon.
UPDATE (2009.02.01):
I’ll be posting Canon Vixia HG21 raw AVCHD sample instead.

tomorrow (March 31st, 2009).April 1st, 2009.what settings did you set to get this video.
I think 60i or 30i isn't it!
If memory served correctly, it was 60i.
Unfortunately I do not have Premiere CS3 to give you a detailed instruction. Maybe someone would leave a message here.
I believe it was 60i.
I also have a Canon Vixia HG21 and am trying to find a good workflow to bring in the files into FCP on a power PC mac. Any advice?
Unfortunately AVCHD is not directly supported under PowerPC architecture.
You need to use a transcoder such as VoltaicHD – http://www.shedworx.com/voltaichd
