03.03.2007 Megadeth: Remake of "A Tout le Monde" is The New Single

Dave Mustaine has revealed that Roadrunner Records chose the remake of "A Tout le Monde" as the first single off Megadeth's upcoming "United Abominations" CD. The song was originally featured in Megadeth's "Youthanasia" CD. This time the song was re-arranged and re-recorded as B-Side for Japanese market. The folks at Roadrunner Records really like the new rendition of the song so much, they chose it as Megadeth debut single on Roadrunner Records.

The song will be titled "A Tout le Monde (Set Me Free)" for the CD and called as "Set Me Free (A Tout le Monde)" for radio single.

Mustaine also adds that the song is now sped up and features original solos by Glen Drover in addition to the solos written by Marty Friedman. The song also features Lacuna Coil's Christina Scabbia on vocals.

The video for the song is schedule for shooting on March 8th and 9th, days before Megadeth goes on tour supporting Heaven and Hell.

As previously stated by Dave Mustaine in Billboard.com interview (August 23 2006), “United Abominations” release date has been pushed to early 2007. Today, Megadeth.com posts the link to the interview and confirms the new release date.

For All Megadeth fans, they had to wait a few more months for “United Abominations”. In the meantime, Megadeth fans can pick up Gigantour 2005 CD now and Gigantour DVD on September 5 2006.

08.23.2006 Billboard.com Reports That "United Abominations" Is Scheduled For Release Early 2007

From Billboard.com:
"Mustaine says an initial Oct. 31 release date for the album, Megadeth's first as part of a new deal with Roadrunner Records, was "wishful thinking," and both the group and label felt a 2007 release was preferable to November or December of this year."

This news has yet to be confirmed on Megadeth Official Website.
