Separating from the “news” and personal opinion, that’s why I’m posting this on the blog part of 37prime.com.

Jason Calacanis is an attention whore.

For sure that Calacanis is not getting that much followers on Twitter as much as he hoped. I, Cringely picked up Calacanis’ tweets as story. Calacanis’ failed attempt at humor does show his true character, nothing but an attention whore. The only smart thing Calacanis ever done is selling Weblogs, Inc. to AOL for millions of Dollars. Since then Calacanis has been living large on the payout.

    Couldn't agree more. For someone who talks so much, he has so little proven history behind him. I know, I know it's "never say die!", which is a great but monolithic belief. There is so much more to TRULY being great, that never gets posted to twitter or blogged about by the media. I would focus on those qualities if I were J Cal.

    After reading the way he handled an exiting employee from (virtually) defunct Mahalo.com, this past week, it is very clear as to his true colors.

    Pompous, arrogant, supercilious, bully = J Cal
