    Is Futurama based on a real story?

    You got it. Futurama is written by Matt Groening and David X. Cohen. Two time travelers from the year 4000, using the time sphere as loosely featured in “Bender’s Big Score”, they are telling the story from their past, our future.

    Futurama is based on the future.
