10.16.2007 Apple to Ship Mac OS X Leopard on October 26

"Apple® announced that Mac OS® X Leopard will go on sale Friday, October 26 at 6:00 p.m. at Apple’s retail stores and Apple Authorized Resellers, and that Apple’s online store is now accepting pre-orders."

It’s official! After all of the rumors, Leopard, the sixth major release of Mac OS X is scheduled for October 26th, 2007 release. Apple Online Store is now taking pre-orders for Leopard.

Amazon.com has been taking pre-orders of Mac OS X Leopard for quite sometimes now.
